Sustainable by Design
Sustainable design to us means striving to create at the intersection of what's good for people and what's good for the environment.
We love a minimal capsule wardrobe staple that is actually exciting to wear. Our designs are timeless and radically versatile in both style and fit (read more about fit versatility here), so you can wear them for work, travel or play, and for many years to come. We put a lot of thought into each design with the intention that you as the wearer get to join the fun of creating endless looks that inspire you.
Our pieces are made from eco-friendly fabrics. Currently we use:
Tencel™ - a natural fabric with outstanding softness and drape, the Tencel™ fabric is made from renewable wood pulp harvested from regenerative forests.
Organic cotton - softer, hypoallergenic and safer on the skin, requires less water to grow and preserves soil, and also offers safer environment for the farmers.
Recycled polyester - offering performance of polyester without using virgin plastic, these fabrics are made from post-consumer plastic bottles.
Oeko-Tex® 100 certified fabrics - certified to not contain substances that are harmful to human health. Learn more here.
All of our pieces are ethically made in America. We work exclusively with factories that prioritize the treatment of workers and who ensure their fair payment. We strive to shorten our supply chain to reduce our clothing emission footprint.
To directly help fight against climate change, we are honored to partner with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every piece purchased from us!
One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. They plant trees to restore nature and biodiversity. They also raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like ours a simple sustainability solution, and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment.
